http://www.megaupload.com/?d=Z6M7W2VSfor anyone that didn't get it yet, it leaked last night around 6 or 7definitely an eccentric album, some great songs, some not so great songsmr. carter is , best song on the cd[Edited on May 31, 2008 at 10:04 AM. Reason : ....]

there's not one I don't like. he delivered a Classic. can't believe it.
5/31/2008 12:37:46 PM
Is this the actual album or is it just another leak so he can push the release date back again?Should have listened before I said anything... but another great album from Wayne nonetheless.[Edited on May 31, 2008 at 1:39 PM. Reason : idiot]
5/31/2008 1:11:30 PM
^^I'm not so sure about Phone Home. Wayne is an enjoyable rapper, and one of my favs to listen to, but his content isn't on the same level of BIG, Pac, Jay, Nas, etc... So I can't really call this classic. Especially this early.
5/31/2008 2:01:10 PM
I actually like phone home.I agree with ^ I was thinking he might try too hard to deliver a bluprint, illmatic type record. He'd appear fake. I like this a lot[Edited on May 31, 2008 at 2:18 PM. Reason : ']

the albums is dope. you don't have to be a great to make a classic album. Game - Documentary is a classic album. Dre gave him the best production since The Chronic. ATCQ has 2 classic albums and they aren't on the same level as BIG and Jay-Z . . . so a Classic is a timeless album. this is it.
5/31/2008 2:36:01 PM
^ i agree that the album is a winner but imho the problem with calling it a classic is the lack of focus. all the songs are good, but he often strays from the original concept of the song with his off the wall references.
5/31/2008 2:53:59 PM
which rip are you guys referring to?it took forever to just get a VBR rip of the roots album. what the hell happened to scene standards[Edited on May 31, 2008 at 3:12 PM. Pretty damn good overall, would have to say my favorite songs and Dr. Carter and Mr. Carter
5/31/2008 6:46:51 PM
it's really good
6/1/2008 2:57:26 PM
the first half of the cd is better than the 2nd. Also, how in the world could Bobby Valentino keep any semblance of a straight face while singing like a siren?Goddamn, Tie My Hands is a GREAT song.
6/1/2008 3:23:11 PM
This album is good front to back, thoroughly impressed!
6/3/2008 9:49:04 AM
hes about to get the shit sued out of him for sampling "i feel like dying" w/out permission
6/3/2008 10:30:04 AM
its funny that shits been out forever but the case isnt officially filed until the album is about to drop
6/3/2008 10:50:57 AM
i thought it wasnt going to be on the actual album?
6/3/2008 10:52:09 AM
this is the first i've heard any of these songs. i think its an incredible album. its on the level of a jay-z or dr. dre release.

won't be on the album. good song though. not sure what he can be sued for when he never sold the song that used the sample. I don't know how that works.
6/3/2008 11:43:41 PM
I'll be honest I'm not all that familiar with Wayne but I listened to this today and liked it a lotWhat a weird-ass dude though, good lord
6/4/2008 12:16:52 AM
i wasnt a fan of wayne the rapper ever since the original "tha carter", but this is what i am a fan of with waynedude has recently figured out how to just go straight esoteric with his beat selection, no doubt due to the supporting cast of producers guiding him, but i love the beats/sampling on Built the Beat Up & Dr. Carter.he is a WEIRD dude, and i can't tell if it's an act or he's just gone that far off in his desire to become an "artist", which he is doing very well. his metaphors dont always make the most sense, but he's putting the total package together and it's an enjoyable thing to observei feel like dying (or whatever it's actually called) is such a great song...just the aural experience makes you feel the high even if youre completely sober[Edited on June 6, 2008 at 4:43 PM. yeah. its genius. i think kanye west executive produced. he stepped his rhyme game up. bottom line.
6/6/2008 7:44:34 PM
I'm with you guys. Incredible album. His evolution from Tha Block is Hot to C3 is crazy. His style has changed greatly, yet I still think all of his albums are great in some way or another.

6/6/2008 11:29:57 PM
what kills me about wayne is I'll be enjoying a song, then he just says some retarded metaphor or just general dumb shit that I can't let slide.examples:A Milli: "I'm a venereal disease like a menstrual bleed." WHAT?!Mrs. Officer: "And I beat it like a copRodney King baby yeah I beat it like a copHa Haaa…beat it like a copRodney King baby said beat it like a cop " there's no need to say that twice. NONE. Shoot Me Down: "ima do it again like nigga backwardsthese niggas backwards but they behind usnow watch me get high like times up " just, no.
6/8/2008 12:10:26 PM
agreed
6/8/2008 1:11:09 PM
"ima do it again like nigga backwards" i like that linethere are some pretty dumb metaphors on here that make no sense though. like "i'm the definition of definition"i pretty much like every track though other than "mrs. officer"
6/8/2008 1:17:13 PM
^but nigga backwards isn't again.
6/8/2008 1:22:38 PM
aggin= sounds like again.i don't know, it made me laugh at least
6/8/2008 1:28:43 PM
right, I know where he was going. but it failed.
6/8/2008 1:32:11 PM
i thought it was cool. he's emceeing though. that's always good.
6/8/2008 2:07:03 PM
6/8/2008 2:32:08 PM
don't hate b/c I analyze lyrics. like I said, I know what he was trying to do, but with all the bullshit he's put out lately that makes no sense... maybe, just maybe he should take a few months off. Now the shit that's actually nice like "Tie My Hands" I fucking love.
6/8/2008 2:43:47 PM
Lynda Carter?
6/9/2008 12:54:34 AM
The actual cd is on thepiratebay.org if you're looking for the bonus tracks and everything.
6/9/2008 7:30:28 AM
^x12 so the song with juelz santana and fabolous is on there? my friend burned that song for me a few weeks back, it's fantastic. it's almost like santana and fabolous were like "oh crap, we're on a song with wayne, we better come strong" 'cause they both have the verses of their lives on that track. not as good as wayne's, but still the by far the best i've ever heard from either of them.what else? octopuses! what else? oysters!!
6/9/2008 10:02:17 PM
yeah, "you ain't got nothin" is definitely one of the highlightsi bought the deluxe edition of this album tonight... the tracklisting on the back does not list 3 of the songs (the standard edition lists these as bonus songs) but they are all on there. I guess they must have printed the tracklisting for the deluxe editions first and added the songs later
6/9/2008 10:13:02 PM
Yeah I was listening and thinking "what the fuck"
6/11/2008 6:32:42 PM
on my second listen now
6/12/2008 4:42:57 AM
couple listens through and here's how i feeli like the album as a wholebut as individual tracks, i think im much more in love with the production than wayne. this could have been a pete rock type album with just a bunch of hot beats and random dudes spitting over them and i'd have been just as happy. i just still don't think wayne is that good of a rapper, but he's an incredible artist/showman, if that makes sense
6/12/2008 8:26:33 AM
^ i can understand that. but its a classic album. i don't think the Game is that talented as say Jay-Z, but his album The Documentary was classic too. just great work and beats. its like its hard to fuck it up when the sequencing and production is so good.
6/12/2008 1:23:03 PM
ok, this album isn't a classic. lets not kid ourselves. I enjoy it a lot, but there's no real CONTENT here aside from Tie My Hands and Misunderstood, but most of that "song" is him talking. There's top notch production on it, just like the Game's album. And upon more listening, The Documentary would only be 7 minutes long if he wasn't allowed to drop names.
