Townhouse is located on Centennial Campus in North Shore. There is reserved parking for residents and guests. My girlfriend and I are seeking a roommate, who can choose between two rooms, both of which are located on the third floor. Only one room is for rent. If you want the smaller room, rent is $400/month + 1/3 utilties, whereas the larger room cost $500/month + 1/3 utilities. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The larger room has the restroom accessible from the bedroom, while the smaller bedroom's bathroom is just outside the door off the hallway. Both bedrooms have a remote control ceiling fan/light. The house is fully furnished with high end products. All you would need to bring with you is what you would want in your bedroom. The washer/dryer are provided (new and extremely quiet), downstairs is furnished (leather couch, leather recliner, massage chair , nice tv, surround sound, grill on the back porch). The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, new dishes, pots/pans/microwave/etc. Although we may get a dog in the near future, pets are not allowed. You must be OK living with a dog. We can entertain offers for when you'd need to move in. We would like a roommate by August 1, however, we could allow our other roommates to move out early to accommadate an earlier need. (They are engaged and are getting their own house). If you are interested in living with us, please PM me and we will set up a time to meet you and see if we are a good fit.

^^My guess is Renters can not bring pets. The owners can do what ever they want. I assume that they are just giving you a heads up that they might get a dog.I used to live in North Shore, its a nice place to be and close to everything. Good luck with finding a renter. It shouldn't be to hard.[Edited on May 23, 2008 at 2:24 PM. Reason : .]

i am the landlord. tenants are not allowed to bring pets - but i am most likely getting a dog in a month or two, so they'd have to be comfortable wtih that. i may have already found our roommate. i will keep it posted here.

I believe that we have found a roommate! I will have a lease signed on Friday of next week most likely. I will let yall know if it falls through.OmarBadu, as for appreciation - it works like this...You buy the house for XNext year, it is worth X + $15,000Year two, it is worth X + $25,000Year three, it is worth X + $40,000Year four, it is worth X + $62,500believe it or not, it goes up in value - the fact that they haven't built a home here in 2+ years and there are only 31, the fact that there will be an arnold palmer golf course on campus next year, the fact that my balcony off my master bedroom overlooks lake raleigh, the fact that i'm on a beautiful campus with greenways and walking trails, the fact that i'm 1 block from public transportation, the fact that i am less than 1 mile from I-40 and 3 miles from I-440....I can't seem to figure out why these places would be worth anything. Oh yeah, the land lease expires in 95 years. i doubt i'll be around then and i doubt anyone in your family has kept a house "in the family" for 99 years. how did you graduate from college?

Is North Shore looking to build any new buildings any time soon? Every time I'm over that way they look like they are doing something, but I guess what I'm seeing is just a perpetual laziness.

craig davis claims that he has submitted plans for another 158 units. we will see if they come about. i know that they will all be 2-3 stories, not 4 like we have now. they will only range from 1200-1600 SF, whereas now they are 1700 - 2400. if he ever does it, it will be nice, but i have lost all faith in mr. davis.
