im taking summer classes out here and its a pretty huge deal around Goldsboro.

Mt. Olive was ranked #1 the whole year pretty much in Div. II and is straight kickin @$$, they have only like 5 losses on the year and won their regional 8-3.

THe series is this weekend, and much like Barton, they have a good shot.

I'll be pulling for them....

I remember MOC folks wearing Barton jerseys when they went to the championship (MOC and Barton are arch rivals)....thats why i love small college sports.

Lenoir CC (50-10) is a D2 JUCO program from Kinston that has been ranked #1 pretty much all year. They are playing right now for a berth to the D2 JUCO World Series in Millington, TN. If they get rained out, they advance to the World Series anyways since they are the #1 Seed.

I played for the LCC team in 2004 that went to Millington. We went 1-2 out there and finished 5th in the nation. Hope the guys can get back out there this year. The last couple years they have gotten beat in the District Championship (where they are right now).

One of my friends from high school catches for them. He fractured his skull a little while ago so I imagine he missed this.
