I ran across this in the June edition of Modern Drummer: The Fab Faux is a Beatles tribute band with Will Lee from The Late Show with David Letterman, Jimmy Vivino from Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and drummer Rich Pagano, among other talented musicians. The group is committed to the "accurate reproduction of The Beatles' repertoire."Legendary Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick joined The Fab Faux in the studio to teach recording techniques and show how The Beatles achieved their sound. The sessions will be part of a master class series to be shown at universities around the world.A sample:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6Kyf9wjZc4The Fab Faux performing an excellent "I Am the Walrus" on Letterman:http://youtube.com/watch?v=9lknCpGbsJcOfficial Web site:http://www.thefabfaux.com/fauxstory.php

They've made several appearances on the Howard Stern show and they're always excellent.

Yeah, I mean, what rock musician wouldn't want to know The Beatles' recording techniques as they were actually applied? The Fab Faux are passing along a lot of secrets for the generations to come.
