Police say they are checking local hospitals to see if a man has sought medical attention for the bite. The teen who was attacked was taken to a hospital. Her condition has not been released. Salisbury police say the suspect was a black male in his late 20s or early 30s, about 5 feet 10 to 6 feet tall, weighing 180 pounds. He had a muscular build, was bald, and had green eyes. At the time of the attack, the suspect was wearing a T-shirt and blue jeans. And, obviously, he might be walking with a limp. "

well, hazel is a greenish-brownish mixture.

I'm just surprised she was looking at his eyes at all. 7 PM is plenty light outside to get a good look, but most people have a hard time getting any type of details unless they're concentrating on doing so, and I would imagine it's pretty hard to do that when you're getting smacked around and have a dick in your mouth. Unless it was very striking you don't usually get eye color in descriptions. And no, I'm not calling her a liar, it's just a weird story.

yes, there is a dominant eye color gene that controls whether or not your eye is either Brown or Blue. those are the only two "real" colors. there are other genes that control what shade of blue/brown and what tints it has. Green is a brown tint like grey is a blue tint. hazel is green-brown which backs this up

But then again I don't even know what color eyes my best friends have so maybe that just says something about how unobservant I am about people in general. In fact, people have commented on this before. I'm notorious for having no clue who someone is even after meeting them several times, not just their name, actually having no memory of ever having met them.

I always maintain that if they didn't register initially they probably aren't important enough to remember.
