5/13/2008 4:47:37 PM
^^ different era. parents got married when they were 19, and are still together (almost 35 years now)nowadays, i agree, it's not a good idea.[Edited on May 13, 2008 at 4:47 PM. Reason : .]

Marriage...why fuck up a good thing.
5/13/2008 6:12:53 PM
marriage (at times) is awesome
5/13/2008 6:14:56 PM
phew good thing my gf is 21, so when we get engaged in the next month or so itll meet tww approval
5/13/2008 6:20:56 PM
polygamy is better?while open marriages are best?
5/13/2008 6:23:09 PM
polygamy would not interest me....can only imagine the underlying jealousy. now an open marriage...that I think I could go for.
5/13/2008 6:25:18 PM
depends on the people. I got engaged at 21 but we've dated 6 years and after the first 2 couldve easily been engaged and things wouldve been fine
5/13/2008 7:16:59 PM
I don't wanna get married before 27, but damn it my boyfriend is trying to rush me before I change my mind about putting up with all the beer bottles in the living room.
5/13/2008 7:20:32 PM
A PIG'S VAGINA!!!!!just kidding. i can't imagine getting engaged before 21. the best times of my life were in college and even post-college. early to mid twenties seems to awesome to waste. not that marriage is wasting it. that sounds wrong. its like all my friends that i know that have gotten married young definitely changed after marriage. they were together for a long time so nothing should have changed. its not like they wanted to go out and get drunk and hook up with random people. but when people who are dating/engaged go out they still act normal. i don't get why you still can't go out and have fun after you're married too. it just seems like everyone changes. except nothing changed besides status -- engaged to married??? why?

^^ bingo.miss so much being tied down
5/13/2008 7:39:17 PM
I totally agree, got married at 19. I totally regret not getting to stay at school and enjoy it. Don't get me wrong, there were good times, but over all, if I could do it all over I would NEVER get married. It's overrated. Things tend to go downhill when you get married. I missed out on the best years of school. I'm starting over but not sure if it's gonna be the same.

While living in London I dated this Australian (Thai/Dutch) girl. She was goregoues, semi-pro masseuse, pro-dancer, now living the corporate life. Anyway long story short she was well sought after and had been engaged. Thrice. She is 24.[Edited on May 13, 2008 at 10:17 PM. Reason : Austria is different from Australia]

I agree w/ this thread. I've got a lot of friends hopping on the marriage/move-in w/ each other band wagon. I'm 23, single, and I'm ok w/ that. I've done the serious relationship thing before, its nice to have time to yourself and to enjoy doing things you like to do w/o having to feel tied down. All my friends are like, geez dude it's been like a year and a half since you've had a g/f, are you ok? In reality I'm better than I've ever been, I only have to worry about myself, I enjoy myself more...this isn't to say I look down on my friends who are getting married and such. I'm very happy for them; I just figure, why rush into something when it'll be that way for the rest of your life? And if its not...then it'll cost your ass for the rest of your life. Slow and steady wins the race my friends.

i'm a serial boyfriend according to my friendsoh, and I have a "style" which is not good[Edited on May 14, 2008 at 12:27 PM. Reason : on a side note, i was married at 21 and divorced by 22]
