When women are constantly lied to by men they start to think that there is some unknown and mysterious power behind lying that can change people.

Lying doesn't give people power or change people, it takes people's control away and leaves people susceptible to not being able to live up to their own lies.

Everyone lies. I just think that women within the American culture are influenced even more than men to lie when they do not need too. It has less to do with women in general and more to do with how society projects cultural gender roles and tradition.

i just don't get that...

i've known many more men that just lie for the sake of lying....and tell lie after lie to cover up all the lies they tell...


and maybe i'm just splitting hair here...

but with women i've noticed it to be the case that they really convince themselves what they think or say is true and begin to live the lie (the delusion and lying to themselves...like we both said) but it's not lying for the sake of lying....or lying to accomplish anything....

it all boils down to the two main facts of life....

1) men lie because they are assholes

2) women lie because they are bat shit crazy

I think men lie for fast sex and fast power.

Women lie for eventual marriage and eventual security.

This results in men seeming like total assholes and women seeming like they are in their own little perfect world.

there are no truly sane women...


there are just women that know how to contain the crazy much better than others....and, in turn, can be quite rational and appear completely sane....for the most part...


however, emotion will always over power logic in women in the end....

People will do anything to promote themselves if they believe they are right. Women happen to be especially given to believing they are right, and so they tend to do whatever it takes which is often lying. That's a person thing, not a woman thing. It's not pathological, it's for a purpose.
