he'll just be a tackling dummy at practice

i think they're just fine with Desmond Clark, Greg Olson and Kellen Davis

what about QB? I'd imagine Jay Davis could give Rex Grossman a run for the starting spot (ok not really but Grossman sucks)

Hasn't the dude who is long snapper for the Bears been doing it for a long time, one of the best in the league, and even has a website dedicated to longsnapping?

Damn it's early. I read the first post as saying
Quote :
" Contrat with DeBeers "

I was like, why the hell is he selling diamonds in Chicago?

What would be really funny is if they use him for some trick plays as QB or he ends up trying his hand as a pro-QB

i know a guy up in baltimore that worked for amato for a few years. he said that stone was the cockiest prick when he first came to school. when he bombed as a quarterback, he was greatly humbled and became one of the hardest workers and had one of the best attitudes on the team.

good for him and his hard work. i wish him the best of luck.

My dog took a crap on Chuck's lawn a while back and he came out yelling at me and my dog and rambling something about "stupid dogs, and stupid cocky Marcus Stone."

^^you say that in jest, but that's how i kept up with state athletics for a while. the owner of our company had a weekly dinner with the amato family at momma mia's i think it was. and peggy always calls his wife during state games to see how things are going, and she still pulls for state.

lugina actually still lives in raleigh with the dogs even though chuck and peggy are in florida.

Joe, the big state trooper who used to escort Chuck off the field got me out of a speeding ticket once.

then I kicked marcus stone in the nuts.

(the first part is actually true)

Marcus Stone is such a hard worker and always wants to do what is best for the team

more like:
"Hey coach, I realize that I am a sorry qb at the college level, but I really like to play football. Is there another position that you can move me to so that I can get some playing time?"

yeah i heard stories about Stone when he got here too. One of my best friend's went to the state camp a few years ago and his dad saw Stone and asked him what it was like learning under P. Rivers....

He just said something along the lines of "he's good but he's not as great as people think he is. All he does is not make mistakes and get the ball from point A to point B" (thats a drunk as comment)

I think everybody loves him now but he did seem like a prick back in the day

I wouldn't get too excited. If he makes it past the 85 man cut or even the 60 man cut he definitely won't make the 53 man roster.

He does have a shot of making the practice squad for a year before he gets kicked out of the league.
