xbox360 question

is the hitachi drive compatible with the samsung?


360 has a messed up drive and i have a replacement. will that work? i hear they have a few different types

I have a general question about the 360 too.

At some point I accidentally created another non Xbox Live HDD account.

Somehow that is the default account it signs into and every time I load a game I have to sign out of that one and choose the other one. Is there a way to change the default account?

i had an HDD and a gamertag with different names for a while because i didnt get live immediately with my xbox,

^^Log-in to the profile you want to be the default, Press the xbox button to bring up the guide, Choose your name (at the top), choose auto sign-in, enable it. Good to go

It might have worked on an older 360, however I think the ones they've made over the past year are so are all hardware locked so that you'd have to have the flash the firmware of the Samsung so it spoofed as a Hitachi. I think I remember seeing a thread about it on http://forums.xbox-scene.com at some point, however, so you may want to check there.
