I loved Dr. Brown except he'd always go off on tangents and forget to teach what he was supposed to be teaching.

I thought he was great, but he is definitely a professor you either love or can't stand. I always though his classes were fun.

also, Sarah Rusche in Sociology was awesome. I had her for a couple of classes a few years ago. She saw me at Brueggers last week and still remembered my name and we chatted for a bit.

Dr. Kimler. I had him for HI322 (Rise of Modern Science). Entertaining, engaging lectures. He knew the stuff very well and taught it well.

Dr. Barker FTW

i can't believe nobody mentioned him. HI 251 and 252... his class fills up but he allows everyone to add into the class so people will sit on the floor to hear his lectures, he's hilarious.

instead of taking my final, he allowed my friend and I to go to charleston and take pictures at fort sumpter.

also if you take pictures with your book he gives you extra credit, so i sent in a picture of me rolling a joint on my book and he thought it was hilarious and shows it to every new class, in fact on the final there was a question "who rolled a j on their nation of nations book?" and the answer was EJ haha

Dr. Shevaun Neupert, Dr. Chris Mayhorn, Dr. James Kalat, Dr. Roger Mitchell, Tara Behrend, and Karl Kauffman from the Psych department.
Dr. Barker is the MAN! SO funny. His tests are pretty damn hard, because he lets you opt out of a lot of things, but I destroyed the final.
God, I don't remember his name. And, of course, he's not a professor, so he's not listed on the web sites. There was this HOT guy teaching Social Deviance last year. Best class I've ever taken.
Oh, and Kris Macomber. Awesome teacher.

Rod Cockshutt...had him for ENG 215 a couple of years ago...loved him. Would tell funny stories about growing up and getting drunk on the weekends.

Dr. Larry Gustke. PRT 407. I believe he is being forced to retire this year but by far my favorite PRT teacher. Would sometimes go batshit insane and throw erasers at peope who were talking in class or bang trash cans into the ground but hey, don't all great teachers do that?

DEVIN ORGERON

not only a wonderfully funny and self-deprecating film professor, but also a fan of rollergirls, marrying other film professors (well, just one), cool hats, showing finding nemo in college, and ^ shining laser pointers at inattentive students

And I don't know if I would call him my favorite, but Harrington for Geology was pretty cool. Old guy, always complains that he's lonely. But he did 20 years of research out west and really knew his shit.

Dr. Leithold was also pretty cool. Final paper was probably the easiest paper I've ever written (15% of the grade - You have 10 topics to choose from, and all you have to do is summarize the research that was done and the reaction it got... 3-5 pages long and she gave you the original sources, you just had to find others to go with it).
