the pronunciation is "toor-nuh-muhnt". It sounds almost the same whether you stick the "n" sound to the first syllable or the second. I believe "turn-a-mint" is slang.

Yeah it originated from "toor'n?-m?nt" so adding the n to the first syllable and making it only 2 syllables is probably the most correct way.
