If all goes as planned, I'm moving over to University Apartments in the middle of June and I'd like to find a roomie to offset some of the costs of living there.

About the complex:

-Looks ghetto as hell, but is quite a bit safer than it appears. The apartments back up to an office complex, so I don't feel like I'm going to get shot when I am down in that area.

-The apartments haven't recently been renovated, kind of run down. I don't know anything about the management, but for the price, I don't think you can beat it.

-The apt I'm looking at leasing is 1,000 sq ft. Bedroom 1 - 10x13 Bedroom 2 - 12x12
-It's a split level building so the living room and kitchen are downstairs, and the bedrooms are upstairs.

-No washer/dryer. I'm probably going to buy my own when I get some fliff, so we'd probably have a W/D by the end of july.

-No pets, but if you can sneak em in and are willing to pay whatever fines they impose if they catch you, whatever, I don't mind. Thats your prerogative.

-One year lease. sublease. whatever. It'll probably end up being a sublease depending on how quickly I find someone, but who knows.


Rent for the whole place is 565$, so roomie rent would be 282/mo.

Cable/Intarweb/Utils all split 50/50.

Aprox cost/mo to live here would be about 350-380$, so if you're looking for a dirt cheap place to live this is probably your best bet.

About me:

-Graduated 07 - Visual Arts / Design
-I'll probably have a shitton of art projects going on the porch. I'm working on a suit of ironman armor at the moment.
-I'm generally neat. Not a clean freak, but I would prefer the kitchen and common areas to be fairly free of disgusting shit.
-I have less than 5,000 posts on TWW.

The helmet is WIP, need more sanding/bondo work.

I was showing it to BigMan at work this morning and that bastid dropped it. Huge crack in the side now. But at least I know how crappy the plastic I'm using is. blah.

Halloween this year is going to be awesomeeee. Way better than Mjolinor armor I made last year.
