4/27/2008 12:37:51 PM
Good shit man. I've been playing golf for 8 years, shoot in the high 70's and have never gotten an ace.
4/27/2008 12:58:34 PM
you got an eagle. big deal
4/27/2008 12:59:55 PM
Knight's play is a respectable course. even though you can get through the whole thing using nothing upstream of a 5-iron, most of the holes are not at all easy
4/27/2008 1:02:02 PM
you've bowled 2 300 games?
4/27/2008 1:10:21 PM
i dont know which acomplishment is more impressivethe golf is really 90% luck
4/27/2008 1:11:49 PM
4/27/2008 1:14:22 PM
I am a golfer and i go to knights play regularlymaybe my % is off, but i mean if you're a decent golfer then 90% of a hole in one is luck and 10% giving the ball a chance
4/27/2008 1:16:15 PM
Which hole?I came 1 inch away from holing #8 in one
4/27/2008 1:21:54 PM
My friend was a ball's distance from getting a hole in one the other day when we played.
4/27/2008 1:24:36 PM
BEERS ARE ON KEB TONIGHT
4/27/2008 1:26:24 PM
Played for 10+ years and havent had a hole in one.Been reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal close several times but close doesnt cut it. Tap in birdies are nice though.
4/27/2008 1:27:30 PM
Yea I've been playing for a few years and I dont have one... I've hit the pin on a an approach shot quite a few times, but it never dropped in. Nice job
4/27/2008 1:30:05 PM
I have never made a hole in one but I did hit a guy once. I would have said fore but I was too busy saying there is no way it hits that guy. - Mitch Hedberg
4/27/2008 1:33:55 PM
i have played golf for a while but not much more than handful of times a year.i bowled 2 300's but i have bowled competitively for ~20 years
4/27/2008 1:51:21 PM
Im more impressed with the perfect bowling ... x2
4/27/2008 1:51:24 PM
nice. yeah which hole. i was there friday night and sat morning. man i miss golf. the closest i have came was probably 1.5 feet away.yesterday on hole 27 i landed about 3 feet away. 150 yard from the black tees.
4/27/2008 2:05:33 PM
If you're gonna "quote" mitch hedberg at least get it right. not some half assed approximation.

^read much?
4/27/2008 2:31:14 PM
no, didn't read the rest of the thread. i'm so sorry.and there are many pros at bowling that have never bowled a 300, so i dunno.a little hard to believe. doable i guess, but still...
4/27/2008 2:32:38 PM
CONGRATS ! i loved knight's play. definite highlight from NC. great burgers there too.
4/27/2008 2:51:49 PM
congrats mani've had several pole dingers and lips outs out there from the tee, but never had one dropand ^yes, their burgers are good, but their philly cheesesteaks are even better (not on the menu, and i don't know if you can even order it anymore)
4/27/2008 2:56:29 PM
^^^ not that it isnt incredibly difficult to bowl a 300, but i saw two kids back in high school bowl a 300 on seperate occasions, so i would certainly say its believeable[Edited on April 27, 2008 at 2:58 PM. Reason : arrows]
4/27/2008 2:57:56 PM
i did it on 12 7 times!!!
4/27/2008 3:00:53 PM
talk to kim jong il. apparently he shot 38 under par and dropped five aces the first time he ever golfed.
4/27/2008 3:33:06 PM
I never play Knight's Play because I hate it, but it is obviously more susceptible to aces cuz they're all par 3's...maybe that's why I've gone this long without one even though I consider myself a pretty good golfer.
4/27/2008 3:53:49 PM
4/27/2008 3:59:44 PM
Never got an ace, but on 27, I hit a worm-burner and left it a good 15 yards from the green, about 25 from the pin and I chipped that bitch in. good for me because I play maybe 3 times a year.
4/27/2008 4:04:33 PM
awesome! the only hole in one i've ever seen is when some impatient lady hit up on a the green while we were still putting. but it wasn't a real hole in one, i just picked up her ball and dropped her ball in the hole in order to show my displeasure at her lack of courtesy. we went on to the next tee and after a couple minutes of her group looking around for her ball i heard her exclaim "OH!! a hole in one!!!" i was very [Edited on April 27, 2008 at 6:18 PM. 4/27/2008 6:18:01 PM
haha, you shoulda teed it up just to the side of the green and hit it back at her
4/27/2008 6:25:56 PM
Getting a 1 on a par three course is like kissing your sister.
4/27/2008 6:40:08 PM
I know right. Don't come in here bragging about that shit until you get a hole in 1 on a par 6.
4/27/2008 7:02:58 PM
Had one when I was 12. Probably played well over 500 times since then as a low handicapper and have yet to get one again. Not to take anything away from you but it comes down to getting a little lucky once you are in the 3-foot range.
4/27/2008 7:44:22 PM
i got 10 aces in disc golflol
4/27/2008 7:45:38 PM
i think i've had 7 aces (cough disc golf)
4/27/2008 7:47:52 PM
I used to be a scratch golfer in my high school and early college days....now I am like a 6 and don't play much. I have been playing for about 13 years and never had one.
4/27/2008 10:15:26 PM
bgt has had 3had two within a year when i was 18-19 and one two years agofive iron (185yrds)three iron (195)six iron (180)
4/27/2008 10:27:07 PM
you're welcomei mowed those greens this morning
4/27/2008 11:27:24 PM
^lol gg.my first shot ever at knights play landed dead about 2 inches from the hole. birdied it and then struggled to land more than 1 or 2 more pars for that day (the back 9 farthest from the main road)
