I'm just finding it hard to imagine that the EMS are unaccustomed to volunteers such as yourself riding in their vehicles without the CPR certification card. I mean, you're not the only person in Wake County who's doing what you're doing, they must have come across that situation before.

lol no, i'm just pissed that i woke up at 6am only to have to go home 4 hours later (after sitting around waiting for them to wake up) for something as retarded as this

i just got off the phone with some people higher up than me, their response: "what?" they had never heard of that before.

i should also note that i don't normally ride with this squad - maybe it's somewhere in their bylaws, but no one told me.

apparently someone is calling the aforementioned station now and talking to the person that told me this, we shall see how it works out.
