Try law school exams for a try. 3 exams in 4 days, a 15 page paper due today, and one more exam on Wednesday. Antitrust, Bankruptcy, Securities Regulation, and Complex Transactional Practices. Each exam is 4 hours long, entirely essay. I've typed 17 pages, 19 pages, and 16 pages double spaced for the first three. I will have typed 83 pages in the period of one week. FTW.

I need to start studying today for a final for next week. It's gonna suck so dang bad! I overprepared myself for the midterm, and he wrote the questions easier than I expected, therefore, I overthoughtand over analyzed what he was actually asking and talked way too much and actually talked cireles right around the correct answer. This final is 100 out of 275 points for the entire grade... considering I made a 60-something on the midterm, I could be in big trouble.

However, I have an open book exam, and another exam where the professor gave us the questions (basically) and told us exactly what to study.

What I wouldn't do for a final exam that was four hour essays. Trust me, the alternative which is two hours of essay and two hours of multiple choice hell, is much worse.


I love writing because you can, to a certain degree, argue a point which may not be correct and still get some points.

Fuck yeah, I hated that shit. I felt like praying for days when the prof would give out assignments as take-home essays instead. It's the compacting of info into intense essays where every fucking word counts that drove me nuts.

I did a 7 page paper in 6 hours this semester, so I would hope in an entire 24 you could do 10 pages. Note that my paper was on something I enjoyed, so it wasn't that bad. Now if your paper is on something like astro-physics, may god help your soul.
