a group of friends played this for the high school "talent" show my senior year. it was pretty good, but we got beat out by the fatass deputy who worked at the school. it's hard to beat butterfly kisses when a 300lb man is signing it with tears running down his face.

Yeah, I kept playing guitar but haven't touched sax since end of junior year when Springs leftSpeaking of which, I've been meaning to go see the NCJRO play... Sailors is playing in it now too[Edited on April 24, 2008 at 11:42 AM. Reason : Mike Sailors that is (trumpet)]

did you quit band all together after that year?
4/24/2008 11:46:29 AM
Yeah I couldn't fit it all in with AP shit and Springs left so I didnt really see much point after that. It went downhill fastalthough the new guy put in some serious effort and embarrassed the shit out of ppl. if springs had done that it woulda been awesome[Edited on April 24, 2008 at 11:48 AM. ha, when we played the original song to the teachers who were organizing this thing their eyes doubled in diameter. they said "no way, you can't sing that!". i forget what he said instead, but i don't think they even let him say "effing". btw, the guy that sung was in one of those american idol type shows, but i think it was the nbc version.
