What is the damn deal with these things? It seems like they are always on cars worth less than a few thousand dollars.

I've heard of rear bumper speed holes letting the air flow out from under the rear subframe area kind of like a rear valence, ha

kinda sounds like a drive-with-the-tailgate-down thing

you do realize they are attached with either screws or double sided tape, and can be acquired at autozone.... hence why many have them

I do know they aren't actual holes. Just cosmetic.

The Volvo has a front license plate that says 'Let me tell you about my grandchildren'

these are awesome, but they don't give the hp gains that a stick on hood scoop does

I just realized that car has ICW 5-star rims, a gaudy chrome license plate frame, and smoke headlight covers...
And you're asking why it has holes in the fender.
Some people just do that kind of crap.

I saw a black 240sx (a s14 kouki no less) with stick on vents that were on sideways on the hood. I died a little bit inside.

they actually hold a purpose, if they are legit, being ventilation for the cylinders.

the best is when you see a guy that has 3 on each side but the car is obviously a 4 cylinder.
