I don't think anyone is at all surprised, nothing to really discuss. As long as news organizations are for profit, they'll never ask the tough questions, dig into the backgrounds of the people they trot out for the world to see, or do anything other than seek the next juicy sound bite. And the saddest thing of all, the dumb American public will keep eating it up.
