Because they're from North Carolina. You guys are the worst drivers I've ever had to deal with.

I fucking hate driving in VA. I don't go up there often but every time I do I get some shit from drivers. I get so many folks warning me about how stringent the cops are on speeders, yet even when I'm doing 10% over the speed limit, I am usually tailgated closer than the standard two carlengths in NC, at high speeds, and early in the morning (in my work I go up there as early as 5am).

Still dark + >60 mph + badly light country roads + close close close tailgating =

ive driven all over this country as well. except for the st louis, chicago, cleveland, kansas city, south dakota, montana, northdakota areas.

they suck everywhere

i'd say that ATLANTA, HOUSTON, and BOSTON have the worst drivers, but really they just have the worst roads.

people suck everywhere

ok

i'm going to throw my vote in for FL people. everytime i'm behind someone from FL its a giant buick or lincoln town car and the person driving it is 3 foot 10 and like 97 years old.

Yeah, I passed by this around 5:30...crazy how his car was turned FACING the inner traffic. I don't get why ppl can't drive in the DRIZZLING rain. It wasn't even raining hard.

^a lot of people drive on bald or nearly bald tires and with bad tires, it doesn't take much water to hydroplane or just to lose traction on a wet road with how they whip in and out of traffic.

Yep! I alwaysssss check my tires...I had an instance where I was ridin' almost bald on the outer edge of one of my front tires.....no one could believe I was still able to drive on it. So, from there on out, I've always checked on a regular.

^depends on the car my jeep is light enough i could probably survive on balds so long as it isn't that slick concrete asphalt or rainy, hell even then proper throttle control and reduced speeds would carry me through.

^^ the wider the tires are, and the lighter the vehicle, the more likely it is to hydroplane einstein
