Enough to fail an inspection? Really?

04 Jeep Liberty. I guess it is the pump I have heard every now and then when I first crank it having a humming sound. It's weird though, when I back out of the drive way I hear it, but as soon as I put it in drive the hum goes away. Keep in mind, I don't find anything on the floor of my garage from this leaking pump.

And leaking shocks? Wtf. Sounds scammy as fuck.

Sigh, and here I thought I was going to get some more advise on my issues. I had a look at it, the pump is "leaking" at the connector that comes right out of the pump, certainly not enough to drip (like he claimed when I talked to him in the store) and probably not enough to be alarmed about.

Front shocks, dunno, couldn't see em behind the tires.

Sounds like some bullshit to me.

a lot of guys only "really" check for that after the dmv busted them for that. i havent seen or heard of dmv with any safety issues like this in a while. so the guy might have been just that causus. how long did it take for him to do it. do you go off road a lot
