Why won't it work??? broke out some totally old school wrestlemania though....amazing how far it's comebut why wont my duck hunt work even if i put it two inches from the screen to shoot the duck? It registers the shot and makes the noise and flashes the screen, but all I hear is the quack quack quack, hehehehe

there's probably too long of a delay between the trigger pull and the flash. i could be wrong though.ask dr. bitzer.

so basically the light gun is too leet for plasma tvs? Thats awesome

hahanowadays the controller does emit (wii controllers) an IR beam that reflects off that thing you put on top of your tv. i bet the powerglove would work, although i doubt that thing would fit on many plasma/lcd tv's being as wide as they are.

^no, actually the wiimote just detects the two IR signals emitted from either end of the sensor bar.to the OP, I imagine if you put it into the 4:3 display mode it will work

you're right. my bad.however, i think i did read or heard from someone that you could use anything that emits IR such as a candle and the wiimote would still work, although probably not as well.

For the Duck Hunt gun... what would happen if you just flashed a flashlight into the barrel of the gun every time you pulled the trigger? Would it register as a hit each time?

^I thought everyone was aware of the way to cheat at duck hunt. If you just turned the brightness on your tv all the way up it would register as a hit every time.
