I think a lot of democrats just say they believe in god and go to church just to get elected. Not that I care if they do though.

Makes sense to me, considering that many religious leaders like to have sex with children of their own gender. ZING![Edited on April 13, 2008 at 9:30 PM. Reason : ^ basically]

I'm not going to tell you what to do with your life, you have free will. But if you choose to devote your life to going against the teachings of Jesus Christ, be prepared for the consequences of your actions.

I prefer the term heathen, not heretic. It has a nicer ring to it.Although I can understand the idea here. If you are a majority group that contains dogma that says that anyone other than you is wrong and it's okay to oppress and kill them for being different, then nobody outside your group has a chance at getting power. But that's not us, right?

in america it's totally fine to blast atheists because, in a nutshell, they go against the "beliefs of 98% of everyone else" (whatever...), so... fuck them, right?from the first BushSherman: What will you do to win the votes of the Americans who are atheists?Bush: I guess I'm pretty weak in the atheist community. Faith in God is important to me.Sherman: Surely you recognize the equal citizenship and patriotism of Americans who are atheists?Bush: No, I don't know that atheists should be considered as citizens, nor should they be considered patriots. This is one nation under God.Sherman (somewhat taken aback): Do you support as a sound constitutional principle the separation of state and church?Bush: Yes, I support the separation of church and state. I'm just not very high on atheists....................................................it's kind of sad, really[Edited on April 14, 2008 at 11:43 AM. Reason : .]

Should you really be running for office if you can't pretend to like God like everyone else?
