I call upon the frats of NCSU to streak this event. It would be epic, and who knows maybe not much jail time.
4/11/2008 10:56:23 PM
Where are they debating?
4/12/2008 12:53:56 PM
RBC Center
4/12/2008 2:47:29 PM
they are debating the best way to ruin the country
4/12/2008 2:54:10 PM
they both agree and say its john mccain winning
4/12/2008 2:58:01 PM
There's a ticket lottery for students right? Does anyone know how to sign up?
4/12/2008 3:29:00 PM
is it even set yet? as far as i know, obama suggested a date (april 17) a while back to which clinton didn't agree. then clinton suggested a date (april 27) to which obama hasn't confirmed either.
4/12/2008 3:30:32 PM
4/12/2008 3:36:16 PM
I think Bush already figured that out.
4/13/2008 1:04:48 PM
nutsmakr your communist tendencies basically make your viewpoints irrelevant
4/13/2008 4:51:23 PM
4/13/2008 5:37:49 PM
they are still debating the date for the debate
4/14/2008 5:08:23 PM
I mean what else do they have to do on a Sunday night at 9 o'clock....
4/14/2008 5:11:11 PM

4/14/2008 5:13:00 PM
why does barack want to talk to a bunch of gun toting bible thumping rednecks? why does hillary want to talk to a bunch of gun toting bible thumping rednecks?
4/14/2008 5:20:43 PM
well, the debate would be nationally televised, so it would cover a broader demographic than that
4/14/2008 5:26:01 PM
Questions I wish I would see: "Sen. Obama, how long do you believe we combat troops will be in Iraq? In a 2006 speech you said that we should not withdraw before the 'realities on the ground' dictate. In 2007 you introduced legislation to begin troop withdrawal, but included a clause that would allow for an indefinate pause in redeployment. And in 2008, your senior foreign policy adviser said that your goal completing redeployment within 16 months of entering office was only a best case scernio and not a true commitment. So what is in fact your most realistic scenario for how long combat troops will remain in Iraq?" Oddly enough, it's one that's never been asked. Questions I expect to see: "Sen. Obama, do you....do you...do remember that time you gave a speech about the war in Iraq was bad? ..... That was awesome." </Farley>[Edited on April 14, 2008 at 5:45 PM. Reason : ``]

ouch
4/21/2008 3:51:21 PM
Congratulations, Democrats! Now, no matter which one of you wins the nomination, you've just lost NC. I mean, it's not like the nomination matters either way, because no matter what, neither of them can win, but it is kind of insulting if you're going to pretend like this is relevant.

From the New York Times:
4/21/2008 7:12:20 PM
^^whoopty do...they are debating one less time...they've already had like 20[Edited on April 21, 2008 at 7:24 PM. Reason : plus what marko said below me]
4/21/2008 7:20:52 PM
obama was just here last week at the fairgroundsand i think hillary is supposed to be in charlotte next weekplus slick willy, chelsea and michelle obama have already been through in various placesso even though they might not be havin a debate, they've been in and out of here
4/21/2008 7:22:29 PM
Just because they don't have yet another pointless debate here doesn't mean they won't be campaigning here. Durrr.
4/21/2008 7:32:51 PM
plus
4/21/2008 7:33:48 PM
No, instead they're blowing us off to go to VINCE FUCKING MCMAHON?http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080421/ap_en_tv/tv_wwe_candidates;_ylt=AgR_HgqbO7xs9fHL12V5uu5xFb8CThis is taking Everybody Sells Everybody to a whole new level.

If Obama wins and in four years is running for re-election, which the ballots read Mobama?
4/21/2008 10:39:59 PM
4/22/2008 3:43:45 AM
wonder if they're going to reschedule since they actually have to give a shit about our stupid redneck state now...hillary and obama are both like "sheeeeeeeit"if they do they'll try to "out-NC" each other...I can see it now:Barack: "I was eating a barbecue sandwich with some tobacco farmers and I told them how optimistic I am about Jake Delhomme's recovery"Hillary: "Well I was at a textile mill and while I was volunteering an 8-hour shift, I realized how James Taylor was right when he said he was in Carolina in his mind"]
4/23/2008 11:01:32 AM
4/23/2008 11:05:53 AM
they both paid so much attention, that neither of them could agree on a date for a debatethat will certainly change soon
4/23/2008 11:09:27 AM
i thought the deal now was that coordinating that would be too much for the other parties involved (or so i read).both candidates offered days for a debate. neither agreed to the other's. it certainly doesn't look like obama will agree to one after the last one (maybe he'll surprise me and try to improve on the disaster that was the last debate).[Edited on April 23, 2008 at 11:11 AM. 4/23/2008 11:11:18 AM
i think both candidates are going to be forced to find a date that works for both of them...if obama had won pennsylvania, probably not...but since hillary won i think that adds even more importance to the remaining states, including NC, so I expect them to schedule something...Billiam Clinton is already in Statesville today
4/23/2008 11:13:07 AM
See I just figured the chickening out of the debate was due to the fact that they were actually asked some uncomfortable questions in the last one. The both of them are worried they'll be damaged by right wingers like Stephanolopis (you spell it and in case you were confused that was sarcasm).[Edited on April 24, 2008 at 9:59 AM. Reason : .]

idk i'm pretty sure clintons camp knows they are not gonna win this state...seems like indiana is the next big prize
4/24/2008 10:12:06 AM
Obama would serve himself well to avoid any further debates with anyone. The last debate showed that when faced with even the slightest reasoned conservative argument, he folds up like a sheet. The democrats have two very flawed candidates going up against a liberal republican. Does not bode well for them... just ask John Kerry. .. another flawed ultra-liberal.

4/24/2008 9:37:56 PM
i'm pretty sure by the time november comes around people will realize mccain is not as good of a choice than obamai mean really...a 46 year old black dude that has some real potential to do some good in the world, or mccain...
