Specifically in Spartanburg, SC.

I managed to forget the one I usually keep in my bag was at home until this morning. Bestbuy's website says they don't have one but I'm going by there anyways at 10 to be sure.. There are no apple stores in SC. Couldn't find one on craigslist either

So, any ideas?

Best Buy is your best bet...I'm not sure if apple stores in Best Buy is a nationwide thing or select markets.

Other than an actual apple store, those are your only two locations besides online.

they open at 10 so i'm on the way over there now to see. the online thing showed no macbooks (yea i was willing to just buy a whole laptop and return it--big meetings today) and no chargers but i can always hope it's just wrong i guess

I just remembered the only meeting I have today is 3-5 at the customers place so I doubt I'll need my laptop there and people from NC office are coming down tomorrow so I can get them to bring it.

So, I'm probably not completely fucked

But I'm still going to BestBuy real quick, brb

yup, most large-ish best buys should have 'em. they have a little apple kiosk thing near the desktops.

Why don't you just transfer everything from your macbook onto a flash drive (assuming you still have power), go get a cheap laptop and put it on that.

yea, i had my old toshiba with me also so it worked out fine. i was able to transfer everything before the macbook died. the battery life is great on that thing but i fell asleep with it on in the hotel room the night before so the battery was down to < 10% already. luckily i only had a gig or so of shit to move

anyways, thread over, coworker is bringing my power thingie to me in an hour or less. they left at 7 am so should be here any minute
