Now obviously this is not all dems and he says as much. I got this from the following site and the quote describing it. Now being in NC most of us are rather far removed from people that think this way. He mentions Bill Maher a lot, and I have watched his show many times. I must admit, he frequently forms judgments that I find unwarranted and irrational. Now having not been exposed to anyone like this I tend to believe these people must not be large in number. But this guy makes it seem like they are a dominant force in the democratic party.

Stuff like this used to really piss me off back in the early-to-mid 2000s when it seemed like respectable pundits were able to take this view without consequence. Now he just seems like a nutbar at a nut bar institute (Heritage Foundation is full of quacks).

I'm glad we're in that kinda position. Things have come along way, but I'm still disappointed with the direction they're taking.

Apparently there are people who define their views based on not discriminating anything. Which he claims leads do the inability to discriminate from right and wrong which leads to the toleration of evil if it is opposed to america.

Alot of the hard liners on the right have been on the offensive lately after the past few years of "Bush is the devil, Republicans are Nazis" talk. Retaliation is warranted, sure, but it too often takes the form of stuff like this or books about "Liberal Fascists" or whatever. One wonders if the culture wars of the 90s and the days of Red/Blue have harmed discourse beyond repair forever. Really, it's everyone's faut.
