do you have the frame the screen was in? Is it a vinyl screen? wood?If you have the frame you can buy the screen at lowes/home depot, get some spline if there isnt any in the window and a screen roller to push the spline into the grooves.cut the screen about 2 inches on each side and top/bottom place the screen over the frame and put the spline over the screen into the grooves and roll it in with the roller.details my man.. we need more details.

first of allI. AM. A. GIRL.a female. yes, we exist on tww without names like wolfpackgirl, wolfcutie, sexkitten or what have you. ok!now, having said that, i am not going to make my own screens. my idiotic, cheap landlord only got screens for half the windows in my house. so he told me to take a screen off, and take it to a screen store and tell them to make 6 more exact replicas. enough?!

sexkitten huh? Don't think I've hit on her yet....brb

..... and you're supposed to pay for it? I'd say, if there are some windows you use more than others, just switch them around. I don't know of any screen-making places, though I suppose you could look at Lowes or HomeDepot
3/31/2008 9:17:31 AM
no, he's paying for it. i'm billing him. and when it is open window time, i want all my windows open. i'm not going to switchjew them all around. that is ridddiculoussss and cheap. and i'm not paying for em, so might as well have a full set right?!

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&hs=eFN&q=window+screens&btnG=Searchfirst link looks pretty goodhttp://www.qualitywindowscreen.com/just specify the dimensions and what kind of screen and they get shipped right too your door. If you're getting 6, it looks like $21 each for fiberglass screen and $27 each for aluminum.

I used to make them when I worked at Ace Hardware. It isn't hard really. I'd say go to a Hardware store but it is hit or miss depending on who you get working that day.
