really...if we want gas prices to decrease, there is one thing that everybody should do. the reason why oil prices are trading so high is because there is a dilemma with supply. however, this does not mean that we are running out of oil. it means that there are not enough refineries. so what is the answer? we all need to write out congressmen seeking to convince them to fund, and give financial incentives to companies who want to create domestic oil refineries. as of right now, these refineries have NO incentives to open here in the US....do the research

Secondly, the largest oil reserve in the world is untapped. It is off the Brazilian coast. Unfortunately, this reserve is too far below the ocean floor and technology is not advanced enough to ascertain this oil. Two things are needed, research and financial support. There is a company who is at the forefront of this. Petrobras Energia - I recommend research and investing in this stock/company.
