referring to my previous thread, Vanessa is learning to ride. does anyone have a smaller bike for her to learn on as a favor to me?i'm not going to pay anything outrageous to borrow it..blah blah etc etc.i've got a shadow 600 and a f4i. apparently, the vlx is too heavy and the f4i is too jumpy.probably i'm just going to put her on the shadow....anyway..help more chicks get on the road! i'm sure we can all get behind this one.

Too bad I don't still have my rebel-- maybe post on craigslist? might find someone on there willing to do a couple of hours for some dough. good luck!

i'd let you use the rebel i got for my mom, but its up in virginia [Edited on March 26, 2008 at 7:52 AM. Reason : on a side note, i look like an elephant on a tricycle riding it]

Im really thinking it will be more important that she has a bike at the right height than power or even weight. If she cant get her feet down it wont matter if tis a 400 pounds bike. That being said i think the shadow would be best, for just learnign to ride but to pass the test she will probably need something lighter.
