fun little thing I do at knights play

I stop at the gas station right by the course and pick up a six pack and stuff the beers one by one in my golf bag

then i get a six pack at the concessions and ask for the big cooler, then get in the cart and add my beers


their beer is way overpriced

ive never played competitively, just for fun with family and friends.

i think my best on 9 holes was low 40s, and 18 was in mid 90's (screwed up the back 9)

i think captn's choice would be a lil pointless, but best ball will help it move faster, and it does evenn things out. me ad DROD900 played out there doing best ball against one of our friends who is around a scratch player and it allowed us to stay close the entire time

i mean, if your doing teams, are you wanting to total the score?

cause if you have a bad hole and know it, it would save time and you could just pick up your ball (ie you hit your drive into the drink, then you hit your penalty shot into the drink... you're sitting 5, and your partner hit the green on the first shot? no need to continue that hole)

and i don't know about most people, but the longest it's ever taking us (a group of four) is an hour and a half to finish 9

typically 9 as it is plays is about an hour(unless it's slammed and you get stuck behind a bunch of slugs at the first hole and there is no room to pass them)

it depends on if we do individual, teams of 2,3, or 4

if its teams of 2, its both scores

teams of 3 or more, the lowest score gets dropped

if you are a team designated to drink, then you would be put in a different pot then those not drinking

for the sake of fairness
