If I got and kept you drunk, would any one of you help me move? I could easily find friends and shit to help me but all this talk about moving while drunk has my interest.

I'll be moving next month. Preferably someone with a truck. I'll have a truck, but the more the merrier right?

Free booze is a good incentive to get your friends to help you move, but the booze is just a gesture. Your friends aren't actually helping you for the alcohol. They're helping you because they're your friends.

So the free booze thing really shouldn't work on strangers unless those strangers also view it as an opportunity to meet you like some sort of social gathering.

Are you inviting people to a party?

For the sake of argument: I would hope noone was so desperate to get drunk that they would go through the pain of moving with a complete stranger -- that they intended to keep that way -- just for a buzz. Thus, I would assume the social aspect was implicit.
