Happens at random moments. I'll be watching TV and all of a sudden the video drops (audio works) and there's a message saying copywrite protection, HDMI disabled, blah blah. Box has to be reset before I can get video back.

wtf?

Any certain way I need to throw the thing across the room to get it working properly?

I get a goofy little message on mine once every 100 times that is similar. I have to turn off the TW cable box and unplug the hdmi, then plug it back in and power on.

if i had to guess I'd say that no HDMI/HDCP is the default for the box and that when you see that message its probably either cant contact whatever server it goes to for provisioning, or its doing and update, or a combination of the two.

If its happening really often call your provider. The box might be dying or the signal to your shit might be fucked.

Just came home from work and have the same message on mine? YOu don't happen to live in Greensboro do you? Didn't know if it may be concentrated to this area.

Just got off the phone with timewarner. Basically they did the same thing they always do. Unplug your box, wait till time shows up.......blah blah blah and then it magically works. She said she needed to reset something. Whatever it works now that is all that matters.
