jake is seriously a diabolical genius. selling ads by blocks of 100,000 impressions, and then coming up with a reason to get 1000 people to sit there and hit f5 all day. totally gonna clean out every advertising account on here.

if i'm right about the specifics of how the ad system works, then it's possible that he emptied out the accounts of the people who prepaid for a certain number of views (thats the way i did it when i bought adspace here)

but he also possibly put the site at risk of losing sponsorship from those people because they feel defrauded. at least during the egg hunt, the banners are actually viewed. i can imagine someone who bought in 20 bucks and then had all their views go away in 15 minutes being upset

^^ assuming the system is still the same (which i think it is, since when has TWW made improvements), then no. you just upload the banner and pay the money. then they approve the banner and add views to your total, and you can activate and deactivate your banners. you can have all sorts in your bannerbank, but you can choose which ones are active. you have to turn them off and on manually, though.

Now I'm not expert egg finder, in fact the most I have ever found in a single hunt was probably like 6, but I thought that if you just hit F5 it doesn't work? I thought you had to actually browse through the site and look at different threads and stuff?
