^beat me to it- i am one of the rumored few. Someone actually landed his disc in the bed of my truck one time when i was leaving the course (granted, i did slow down to "catch it")- the guy offered me a beer when i turned around and returned it

^ive hit someone once, on 10, hit a tree and it deflected towards 11's tee pad, (kentwood)....they guy stared at it the whole way but was just in freeze mode until the disc got to him when he tried to jump out of the way, but it hit him right in the gut

^it's for tournament use- they prefer you use those instead of flipping the disc
also, it if starts storming, you can mark your disc with that, and if you lose it, it's only a little non functional disc, and not a potentially 20-100 dollar disc which you might need

they also have little marker goals that you can set up in your house and play indoor dg... seems like a fun drinking game, but i've never done it

i have a lot of markers in disc golf, i mostly get them for free when i sign up for tourneys.
