there's a ton. out near wake forest off capital, behind regency park, centinial campus, new hope road, and it's easy to find posted power line trails. all of it is fair game.

legally theres nothing around here unless you know someone with private land... Uwharrie is opening up soon and the Devils Playground just west of Asheboro is having an open ride march 29th... look it up under the events on nc4x4.com

I always say if you see a trail you should take it and see where it goes unless there is a "no trespassing" sign. You should always take down the sign first so you don't get in any trouble and then see where it goes.

Everyone knows that you can only be tresspassing if you DONT have permission from ANYBODY to be there. So I always give myself permission beforehand, and if I am stopped for questioning, I always say "B.F. gave me permission to do this".

^^haha, yeah i haven't seen a good feeding frenzy over there in a while...

to answer this beat to death question, NO there aren't any legal places open to the public anywhere around here. even the few illegal places that were "overlooked" in the past are now regularly patrolled.
