are they suppose to refund you every penny? even shipping? (no restocking fee)i bought a wireless keyboard from tiger direct online. come to find out its setup for a desktop and not for my laptop (had some long wire). no prob, i called tiger direct and they were ok with me returning the keyboard because i already purchased a replacement.so the return reciept comes in today and $48 and some change is refunded to me, instead of $61 and change. i call them and they tell me that i am not suppose to get refunded for shipping. so of course i told him that i wanted every single penny that i sent to them back into my account.so after some hefty talking back and forth (no raising of voices) the guy is telling me its not gonna happen, and he is going to talk to his supervisor if i wanted to blah blah, but still he things nothing is going to happen. so i tells him to give it a try, 2 minutes later he comes back on the phone and all he says was"ok sir we are refunding you the remaining balance, thank you"im pretty sure i was right. ive returned my share of things online, and even to the store after puchasing them online and have been refunded 100% of the money (when there is no restocking fee).if anything, all i had to pay for was shipping to get it to tiger direct.[Edited on March 11, 2008 at 12:00 PM. we're kind of assholes in that regardwe don't refund your shipping, charge you a 5 percent restocking fee, and place a 30 day hold on the full amount on your credit card

yeah, i had to pay for the shipping to get it there.i could understand if they paid for it and took it out of the refund.but they didnt. and there was no talk of restocking fee, and he even said on the phone that there was no fee.it was just just a plain jane return that im guessing they tried to keep some $$.and of course i told them they are a multimillion dollar company (who's counting) and that they are just trying to jew me out of $13. i dont think he was jewish, but he assured me that they werent doing anything like that to me.

some places require you to cover shipping when you send something backusually it's stated somewhere in the customer service part of their websitebut I guess being a douche about it gets you anything these days
