If there really is a problem post surgery, going to duke eye center is probably your best bet. They have some amazing doctors out there & they're easily the best in the state... and one of the best in the country. One of my family members had to have multiple very risky eye surgeries very young-- all of which were completed with flying colors.Hope your mom is OK... but how does she know they 'cut them wrong'? Isn't it supposed to take a few weeks before you see the real results??

^^^ Carlson is one of the best cornea docs in the world. He specializes in lasik's gone wrong... take her there asap... and yes, bring your checkbook.

those anti-lasik sites give me the heebee geebeez

I went to a seminar for refractive surgery. Dr. Carlson was the head speaker, he has had extensive training and is one of the best in the world. But he does not operate on everyone, he has two fellows that work with him. Needless to say, his rate is almost three to four times that of lasik places you hear advertising on the radio. As of right now I decided to pass on the procedure because of the price. But I would definitely have my procedure done at Duke. When it comes to cutting corners, this is not the area you want to be penny pinching. IMO.
