I use my mirrors anyway cause my back windshield is always fogged up because I have a leak somewhere in my car so it's always full of moisture. I need a dehumidifier for that shit.

I wouldn't be that stupid to get out of my car. This really sounds like something out of a bargain bin, C rated, 1980's, teen slasher movie. But, unfortunately with the way US schools are churning out knuckle-heads these days I can't say I'm surprised that this sort of thing is going on (successfully).

PS: I really like the quick thinking female who not only got out of the car, but also bothered to grab her purse before doing so.
