http://www.sprintspecialoffers.com/everything/?id9=Ad_2008Q1_SEP_allyoucan_300x250Just came out recently, probably in response to Verizon's $99 unlimited plan. I think this will be the beginning of a transition to a lot more options for flat rate wireless.

thank god
3/5/2008 8:39:19 PM
fuck sprint
3/5/2008 8:41:02 PM
3/5/2008 8:42:45 PM
suncom..........That's a good deal if you need the data plan as well.
3/5/2008 8:42:56 PM
meh...cut the price in half, then we're talking.<~~ on SERO 1250 mins. don't need more than that.
3/5/2008 8:43:00 PM
I use about 1500 a month but thats only because any outgoing calls I make during the day are from my desk phone. My free incoming is 79.99 + 30 for data so this actually is gonna be ten bucks cheaper with no restrictions whatsoever.
3/5/2008 8:59:40 PM
lol that's what i pay now. i've been putting off a retention call for a while, maybe it's finally time.2000 AT/vision/text/7pm n.w/2 lines
3/5/2008 9:27:58 PM
I just called and did not even have to bitch to get past the Indian lady. She fixed it on the spot and said from here forward I have unlimited everything and its $10 cheaper. Retention already set me up with this deal for less than I was paying for the 7100i +
3/5/2008 9:32:44 PM
the only problem i see is keeping two lines. I want my plan switched to sero anyway, fuck paying 99 a month anymore...When I first signed up, it was the cheapest way to do things because of the 20 dollar/line addon fee and 10.00 vision/text/etcBeen with them for over 4 years and no longer under contract, so not sure what kind of perks are in store.
3/5/2008 9:34:23 PM
nice! i just renewed a contract with sprint/nex for 2 more years (because they offered me about 175 dollars in credits over the course of the contract) and broke my phone about a month later. and since retention just retained me, they have NO interest whatsoever in replacing my phone for me. it's actually a phone i bought from LivinProof78 for like 20 bucks to replace my old phone that broke the same way(i have 2 i560s, both broken completely in half, with severed circuitry hanging out the sides)so i got upset that they wouldnt just give me another one. shits the cheapest phone they have. not to mention i only had the phone 2 months before it broke, and before that i paid my bill for 6 months while my last phone was broken and got a landline instead.so obviously im a hardhead and i wont buy a phone, i just changed the voicemail to say leave a message and i'll get you my new number.so i still pay for the line. and i bought a virgin mobile prepaid for 12 bucks AT THE SPRINT STORE in front of the guy, and activated it. 34.99 for 300 anytime, 1000 offpeak. 20c per minute after that. which works well since im beside a phone all day anyways.moral of the story, i hate sprint for not giving me a phone and tricking me into taking credits that are going toward my phone that doesnt work
3/5/2008 9:44:33 PM
one more thing, probably the most important. you know how you can share minutes and add a line for 10 bucks... does that work with this deal? i dont plan on paying virgin again. the phone is WORSE than you'd expect for 12 bucks. hahhaaha. 12 bucks without having to sign a contract. so literally 52 bucks plus tax and i had another phone line activated and owned a phone. its shitty!]
3/5/2008 9:46:14 PM
i wouldnt sign a 2 year contract with a company that lost more money last quarter than they are even worth total
3/5/2008 9:54:48 PM
I think if you want to add an extra line, you have to pay $95/month, not $10/month like family plan.
3/5/2008 9:56:03 PM
^^not that you can infer anything from the 'losses' (due to merger) so its not important anywaysbut the 4th quarter numbers just came out like maybe a week or 2 agoand like i said, and i signed the contract before that^what if you already have a contract for a shared plan? it would suck of them to not let those people in on something instead of locking them into that shitty contract with 2 lines]
3/5/2008 9:59:08 PM
^right... b/c if add a lines were $10 on that plan, sprint would be losing a fuckton of money
3/5/2008 9:59:23 PM
i'm pretty sure they wouldn't do it for new customers, i'm just wondering about people who already hold 2 lines for 23 more months. they'll let other contract holders switch, and i'd hope they would let their current customers who have been paying crazy money get a little break
3/5/2008 10:01:38 PM
I have an i560 that is broken in half too. My recommendation for you sir would be an i580 or i3xx (brick phone). I fell completely in a hot tub once with the i580 and it stayed dry inside. Retention might not send you another phone for free but since you still have your account open you might as well try. Just tell them you want to ADD INSURANCE to the new one. ]
3/5/2008 10:03:07 PM
Sprint just went though a huge shakeup. The new executives have a mandate to turn the company around and therefore Sprint will give this plan to any customer that calls regardless of contract status, you can even get it if you are out of contract and do not have to renew. For anyone who is watching the industry both ATT and Verizon both came out with $99 unlimited plans in the last few weeks but none of the others include text, pics, video, direct connect, and data. I guess the new CEO at Sprint is looking to pull the company out of the shitter pretty quick. He probably figures now is a good time to break from the pack with all these new plans being rolled out. They are going to be streamlining all of their customer service and plans over the next few months to make it simpler for the customers as well as reps, hopefully greatly reducing the perpetual billing fuckups the company is known for.]
3/5/2008 10:06:17 PM
now that you mention thatsince they want 200 bucks for a phone, and 200 also happens to be the cancellation fee on my phone, then i'm wondering what will happen if i go in there and threaten to buy my contract out. think they'll give me a new one?and PS i dont want a brick phone. my phones dont break cause im rough with them (well not too much), they break cause they are poorly built and designed. i'm sure one of the 399 dollar phones wouldnt have broken under the same scenario
3/5/2008 10:19:50 PM
That is exactly how it got the blackberry 8830. I said well suncom has this phone (comparable bb curve) for $249 and you wanna charge me $550 for an upgrade since I am in contract, so the cancellation fee is kind of a wash. I would be glad to stay if you can make me the same deal on the phone. They sent me the 8830 for $199 overnight. I was not even rude/threatening, just very matter of fact and they went ahead and worked with me. Call customer care Monday through Friday and you can get retention easily and they will fix you up. ]
3/5/2008 10:40:12 PM
dude, the best way for you is get a used phone from craig's list for like $50 and be done with it.
3/5/2008 10:40:26 PM
^^It would be a better deal if they waive the blackberry fee for you.
3/5/2008 10:41:31 PM
The new unlimited plan does. It includes blackberry data package. I just dropped the $30 add on for data, and the $80 free incoming 800 and got that for $99.
3/5/2008 10:46:54 PM
Str8BacardiL just saved our new company like $35/month on my cell phone service alone
3/6/2008 1:09:45 AM
The other side of this is....as much as I love talking on my radio. Sometimes I don't particularly feel like everyone around hearing every detail of the conversation I am having. If everyone has unlimited minutes this will become a non-issue.
3/6/2008 1:41:52 AM
ttt for the daytime crowd
3/6/2008 12:16:43 PM
lol on the bill it says minutes included in plan"1000799"I guess they figure one million, seven hundred ninety nine minutes is about all you can use in 30 days.
3/27/2008 1:18:32 PM
^lol
3/27/2008 5:25:08 PM
be reminded: this plan is on Sprint's network- which removes all function of the phone. so this cheap plan will become worthless.[Edited on March 28, 2008 at 3:38 AM. Reason : cust base loss of 683,000 isn't too appealing]
3/28/2008 3:37:15 AM
i just made the switch as well and got the new Moto Q9c basically for free after all the credits that retention gave me.
3/28/2008 7:44:52 AM

I am thinking about getting an ic902 for my nextel line so I can play with that sprint tv thing. Does anyone have it? (and I miss having a camera phone)
3/28/2008 9:12:31 AM

3/30/2008 11:35:51 PM

3/31/2008 4:57:29 AM
