$35 extra a day for under 25, under 21 I think it's just enterprise that'll even rent to you and expect it to be crazy expensive.

Rent-A-Wreck charges $5 extra a day for underage drivers.

They're the only place I know of that rents to underage folks. I'm pretty sure Enterprise won't.

Triangle rent-a-car was the least expensive for under-25 drivers when I used them on Spring Break my senior year. However, I don't remember whether or not they rented to under 21, as I was 21 at the time. (This was 3/2002 by the way, could have changed since then...)

I work for Avis/Budget and it's $25 extra/day there for 21-24 year olds, 18-21 cant rent unless they're in the government/military.

I used to work for Enterprise and here are their rules:

18-25 can usually rent, but you have to have full coverage insurance or a major credit card to rent. Usually no additional surcharge, but the branch may limit you to a ECAR-FCAR and not allow larger SUVs and shit like that to roll due to higher liability risk.

When I was with them at a little branch, my boss rolled a deal with a 19 year old who showed up on insurance replacement and we had nothing but a new Durango. She rolled it, and he fucking totalled the truck at 3 am falling asleep behind the wheel and hitting an 18-wheeler. Lucky for him he lived through his second wreck in less than a week. Dumbass.
