Where can I find a male plug for metric 28x1.5mm?
Preferably steel, brass, or aluminum.

It's actually more complicated than that.
The threads are M28x1.75mm

I doubt anyone will have that but I'll check later.
Stupid metric

You might laugh at this one, but I've been constantly pleasantly surprised...a lot of specialty hardware that I use for my systems at work comes from McMaster-Carr. They can usually ship within a day if their warehouses have it in stock. They have one in Atlanta.

And I'm all the time ordering oddball shit.

McMaster's website doesn't list anything in that thread.

I haven't been able to call Wilder's yet.

A friend knows a guy at a local machine shop.
He said I won't be able to find that thread anywhere and that it'd have to be custom cut (not surprised).

Maybe I can get him to cut one for me.

there wouldn't be anything special to cutting one out on a lathe from some round bar.

I called Wilder's, went to Fastenal, and used google.

No one has M28x1.75mm.
Everyone I've talked to said they've never heard of the thread.

So...anyone with a lathe want to cut one for me?
