hahah when flying non-rev you're allowed to fly on ferry flights (when the plane is broke enough to not legally be able to make money on but still flys fine). Once we took off in right behind a squadron of f-15s out of Syracuse NY and the pilot acted like he was in a fighter the entire rest of the trip... it was awesome.

I used to fly out of an airport in Florida that was home to 3 P-51s. It was a commercial operation that converted 2 of the P51s over to tandem cockpits and would fly tourists around.

I used to do pattern work behind these guys and the tower would ask me if I saw the traffic in front of me. I never would because those guys would nose dive a few thousand feet and then pick up the nose just in time to land.
