so it doesnt work at all? forget imageburn, what about windows? can you read/burn a cd thru windows? is your jumper set correctly?has this thing ever worked?device manager, uninstall, reboot.find driver for it manually install

I can't even find the manufacturer's product page, much less a driverthe device works just fine as a DVD-ROM but it can't write any discsdaemon tools is installed, btw[Edited on February 24, 2008 at 5:49 PM. Reason : that might mean something]

the daemontools virtual CD device (the one that mounts ISOs) installs as a scsi cdromif i remember correctly the name you gave is what the daemon tools device looks like... i think it randomly generates characters for the first two wordsmight want to check and see if windows actually DID see your drive
