Daisy was a "petite cat," as the veterinarian described her-perhaps because of the leukemia she was born with. She was extremely affectionate, which made it even harder to watch her fight off the different infections she developed. When Daisy was on medication, it would often knock her out, and she'd curl up with me like a little baby and sleep in my arms. After four months of snuggling and playing and loving each other, Daisy became very sick, and it was time for me to send her back to Heaven. For a long time I had wanted a kitty, and God sent Daisy straight to me. He knew she would need a little extra love and care to survive, and I can't imagine what her life would have been like if she'd been left to struggle on her own. Daisy was more wonderful than I could have expected, and I appreciate greatly that God allowed me the chance of a lifetime to know her and care for her in the short time that she was here."
