i just found this new riddle, enjoy

three men go to a hotel
they get one room and pay $30
after thye leave the manager realizes the room was only $25
so he decides to return $5 to the three men
he tells bellboy to take the $5 to them
the bellboy cant divide the $5 into 3 men so he give them each $1 and keeps the remaining $2

so after getting $1 back each, each man spent $9 each
$9 times 3 = $27
plus the $2 fromthe bellboy = $29...... not $30


where is the missing $1

9*3 = $27 spent by the men

then subtracting the $2 the bellboy kept, that's $25

Now the bellhop has $3, the guests paid $28, for a total of $31....THERE'S THE MISSING DOLLAR!!!!

the riddle doesn't do the math correctly as income and expenditure are done. The three men each paid $9, meaning that as a group, they spent $27. the $2 that the bellboy kept is included in that $27, not in addition to it. They spent $27 each, the Hotel has $25 and the bellboy has $2.

you can't add income and expense, as they work oppositely where finances are concerned.
