way to give a shit about the drought since a clean car is much more important than everyone having water to drink.

2/20/2008 5:17:45 PM

2/20/2008 5:17:48 PM
^^^maybe if you damn firemen would quit using so much, we'd have some left. what the hell do you need it for anyway?
2/20/2008 5:27:46 PM

i thought you lived in raleigh? or did you dig one for the hell of it?you can bet your ass i'll be digging a well if they go through with this gallon restriction/surcharge crap. there's already one on my property from years ago when the house was first built, but i'm sure it's useless by now even on the off chance it wasn't filled in when city water came.

^part of the stage 2 restrictions is that restaurants can only give you water if you ask for itwent into effect on Feb. 15[Edited on February 21, 2008 at 12:17 AM. Reason : ]

I'm pretty sure at this point (or very soon if Stage II hasn't yet been fully implemented) only washes that recycle water are still allowed to operate.

there's also one near the intersection of capital and wade/and a shitload in garner on 70[Edited on February 21, 2008 at 11:01 AM. Reason : +]

there was a story in the technician yesterday 2/20, that told of all the certified water recycling places in raleigh.....just for those who care about the drought. the pressure washing place on the corner of hillsborough, western and jones franklin, is on that list i think. be prepared to sit in line behind roughly 14 mexicans washing their honda accords.
