Had my 21st bday party this past weekend and someone stole my ipod.

it was a Silver 160gb ipod classic with about 120+gbs of music on it.

just got it for Christmas to replace an old ipod and it has a few protective overlays on it, in perfect condition except for a small dent in the metal on the bottom corner from a drop.

$100 to anyone that finds it or knows who has it and I get the ipod back.

that sucks man, but there isn't much you can do.

about the only thing you can do is get the serial number and give that to the cops. Pawn shops are supposed to log electronics to the police daily.

if someone wants to fucking walk out with an outdated computer that barely runs windows xp and a 17" crt monitor than they are pitiful soul, in the mean time i have a a computer in my kitchen to play music on

yeah, so get this. someone totally returned my ipod today. didnt ask for money, i did give them $25 because it wasnt the person that stole it, it was the persons friend. but regardless i got my ipod back.

maybe he shoudnt invite people over? i know this was a 21st birthday party and yeah you maybe could have avoided it some -- but still, most normal people in society entertain people at their homes and stuff. from time to time, i have over coworkers to entertain and stuff. and they bring wives, husbands, whoever they are dating, etc. i even have had a little party thing and i invited all the people in my department. including the temps and a guest each (we have like 5 temps that cycle). no way i'd take those "parties" back cause im worried about something getting stolen

so really, i'd be nice and advise maybe hiding the "valuables" - even though since this person was offering 100 bucks, it sounds more like a principle thing and it sounds like this person knows how to entertain without risking all the valuables in the house

sorry it seemed like you'd be the last person on here to post some bitchy shit like that. people have "strangers" over all the time. most of us go off the philosophy that a friend of a friend is a friend. and i know its a little different in college and all, but still. get over that shit or lifes gonna be RONERY (
