I still remember the first time I saw MST3K (my favorite TV show of all time)


I was in the 7th or 8th grade, home from school sick as fuck with the flu AND pnumonia. Was laying out the couch, on a billion drugs, in a haze... fell asleep, woke up and saw some movie on the tv, with little people at the bottom talking. I didnt know if it was part of the movie itself or what it was, I faded in and out but at one point heard Crow say something and just started laughing my ass off... it was love from there on out

i thought it sucked when i first watched it. it was ahead of it's time.

when i saw again a couple years ago i was amazed. love it now.

I didnt know what the hell it was the first time I saw it back in high school. I wish I could've seen more of the episodes though. I still remember it.

*A fighter pilot is flying is airplane and a UFO turns him upside down, camera zooms in on the upside down pilot...

My Dad and me used to watch this show every Saturday morning. I was only 7 when I started watching, so I didn't get half of the jokes, but I thought the sketches every half hour were hilarious. Every once in a while when I'm home from school, my Dad will get a couple of the DVDs off NetFlix.

I think my favorite quote from the show is from the water skiing short when Tom Servo says, "Who needs life jackets? It's the 50's!"

^^ I was at a meeting Thursday, and a guy there looked JUST like you, but older, and chubby. He wasnt fat, but just had normal 40 year old dude jowls. I tried to take a camera phone pic but couldnt do it without looking weird

well i have been at lots of meetings in greensboro lately, at stuff where we've had out of towners in and shit like that. and i wouldnt call myself chubby but im not the aids junky scum lookin beanpole that i was 2 years ago.

starting monday i'll be on the road a lot. catch me in your city between then and something like march 13, then i'll be all up in irvine, california. which i hear is laguna beach. BONER
