I think its a dumb idea. People celebrate St. Patrick's Day and they don't even know what its about. They just all pretend that they're Irish and that it means something to them. But, whatever. If you really need an excuse to go get trashed, then that's your perogative.

Nah, the correct move is to either:

A) Make Super Bowl Monday a holiday

or

B) Move MLK day to the day after the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl Monday is already one of the least productive days of the year, why not just go ahead and make it a holiday?
