So fucking polite and thoughtful, they put us Americans to shame.

I was supposed to take a note on what the folks were wearing today as they came in to get their senior pics taken, and that along with noting the frame number on their information sheet is a fool-proof way of keeping their pics together with their info in the lab.

So I asked an American what type of blouse she was wearing (not wanting to stare at her shirt and accidentally at her b00bs) and after a silence, I glanced and said out loud, "Ok, a white blouse and a blue sweater..."

As I was turning to write it down, she said, "It's called a CARDIGAN."

A cardigan is an old man sweater.

It also comes in more womenly cuts.

It looks like a thin wool shirt with some buttons and a lower cut. It's fairly snug on the person that wears it around the body and gets to be loose around the wrists.
