would buy this.i took guitar lessons in middle school and never bothered finding a new teacher when i moved, been wanting to pick it back up for a while (even though i hate how college-esk that is).[Edited on February 7, 2008 at 5:36 PM. Reason : so is it real or what?]

Much better concept. Certainly better than 'learning' a song on Guitar Hero. With all the effort people put into that they could be learning to play for real. Here's a link to a video, since that one didn't work for me:http://youtube.com/watch?v=eOMGbr0Nx-k[Edited on February 8, 2008 at 8:14 AM. i think i'll stick with ultimate-guitar.comguess the game can do rhythm better than standard tabs though. might be nice for beginners.

^^exactly!i'm not a beginner and i think it would be fun. the only problem i see is plugging straight into your console with an electric guitar would be like playing sans-amp. kinda lame. anyway, i don't think i'd buy it, but it'd be cool to try out given the chance.
